Stained-glass Window Installed in Cathedral in Honor of Bishop Morrissey
In the tradition of the Cathedral, a new stained-glass window was added on 4 November 2021 to the collection of the “Bishops Windows” located in the bishop and priest sacristies of the St Francis Xavier Cathedral, Geraldton, to commemorate the ninth Bishop of Geraldton, the Most Reverend Michael Morrissey.
The window follows the style of the previous eight Bishops of Geraldton, with the crest of the bishops and their mottos together with various external views of the Cathedral.
The window was crafted and installed by Mr Vaughn Bisschops of “Bisschops Glass”, Nedlands.
