Attached to this letter are the relevant dates for each of the sacraments.

To cover the cost of the program, including certificates, photocopying, devotional items, decorations and retreat day expenses, etc., a small donation is requested.

  • $25.00 for First Reconciliation
  • $35.00 for First Eucharist

The Parish Sacrament Team and the Parish School work together in the preparation and celebration of these sacraments. If your child is not attending a Catholic school, and you would like your children to receive these Sacraments, you may register with the Parish (preferably) at the start of the school year. For further information contact the Geraldton Parish Office.

Those attending the after school classes will be contacted prior to the commencement of each programme. At the end of the preparation time (6-8 weeks after school once a week) your child will celebrate the sacrament with the school/parish.

SACRAMENT OF BAPTSIM

Parents requesting baptism in Bluff Point Parish for babies or small children must attend a one off information meeting for their first child (not necessary for subsequent child). These information meetings are conducted on the second Tuesday of every month in the Cathedral Parish Meeting Room.   Register to attend the evening with the Cathedral Parish Office

  • Please mention if your child is school age when you contact the parish

Once attendance has been confirmed, parents can then make a booking to celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism by contacting the Bluff Point Parish Office.

Vision Statement

We are:

* a welcoming community which reaches out to all
* celebrating Christ's presence
* joyfully living out our Christian calling across distance and diversity

This vision states that as a Diocese, we aim to be a welcoming, missionary, centred on Christ, and each striving to live one's particular vocation. It is in living out our calling that we praise God, follow Christ, influence society and achieve the goal of eternal life won for us by Christ. In the parishes we have encouraged people to measure whatever they do against this Diocesan vision.
